Can You Solder With A Hot Glue Gun
Granted some ternary low temperature solders indiumbismuthother elements will melt in a hot glue gun but you will have no way to heat the object to be soldered or apply an appropriate flux - you will just squirt a low-melting point.
Can you solder with a hot glue gun. Like Dave said it depends who you ask but the bottom line is it is safe to do it if you want to. Has always worked great. Get some fulx for soldering and dap it on to that and touch the diode with the soldering iron and add some solder.
After all they can afford the time and cost to use anything they want. It is applied in addition to solder so solder provides the electrical connection and the glue provides some additional mechanical support. So its not just the peak temperature that.
If not then not sure but if tyour are then no. Clearly better solder paste application reduces rework which is a huge time saver. I always put a generous glob to hold the power wires to the PCB.
It is applied in addition to solder so solder provides the electrical connection and the glue. Soldering irons however are less effective when working on heavier jobs. Can you use a hot glue gun instead of a soldering iron.
Irons have less voltage than soldering guns. No you cannot use a solder gun as a hot glue gunNo you cannot use a solder gun as a hot glue gun. If it doesnt peel then a heat gun will soften it enough so it can be pulled off.
Some hot glue guns have special screws to keep the casing locked and together. But in my experience 10w glue gun it only melts the PLA if you deliberately stick the guns hot barrel into the part or if you have very small parts in which case the glue itself can damage or destroy them. Hot glue and epoxy is used by big manufacturers to protect soldered joints etc.
