Can't Find Last Fauna No Man's Sky

No Mans Skys Companions update lets you truly interact with the alien fauna in the game.

Can't find last fauna no man's sky. I expected the last underwater fauna to be easy but I could never find it. The fauna will spawn close to where you land just walk a little and look through the analysis visor for the little red dot. Fixed an issue that caused NPC ships to land at landing pads where the player ship was being summoned.

Make sure you have all the basic plants. If you have 6 of 7 animals but only have 10 plants you need to find at least one more plant. Im pretty sure you need to scan 95 of the flora before the last fauna will spawn.

The good thing about the Pioneers Expedition is everyone starts in the same solar system. After scanning any planets flora or fauna hit Options and go to the Discoveries page then hold the upload over any item marked with a red dot to send it off in exchange for units. Lets see how humane you are when the last undiscovered species on a planet is a bird that keeps flying out of your scan range.

I did notice they changed the underwater fauna rules. These creatures were introduced in the Origins 30 update and were added to various planets all over the galaxy in the game. There are even lets play videos if you want to settle down and watch the adventure of No Mans Sky.

As No Mans Sky procedurally generates creature designs there will inevitably be many different kinds of Lovecraftian horrors lurking somewhere out there beyond the stars. Thing is its often maddeningly difficult to find the last one or two animals on that list. Fauna in NMS can come with certain traits that make it almost impossible to find.
