How do you clean foam earplugs. They are made for one-time use because they get dirty really quickly and are quickly infested with bacteria. Earplugs should be cleaned by removing all earwax and contaminants prior to reinsertion. Remove any debris that you can see on the surface then rinse thoroughly under cold water.

Dont squeeze since that just hastens the foams decay. The easiest thing to do with foam earplugs is fill a small bowl full of warm water and some cleaning solution. If you dont have a lot of spare time in your hands to give your foam earplugs a thorough clean you can also use the washer or dishwasher to clean them.
