How do you clean memory foam eartips. To make them last longer it is advisable to clean them with a water-soaked cotton bud to remove all the dirt that piles up with normal use fat dead skin earwax etc. If you dont have a lot of spare time in your hands to give your foam earplugs a thorough clean you can also use the washer or dishwasher to clean them. These are a great value and noticeably improve sound quality.
Next gently remove the memory foam ring from the eartip. Unlike when cleaning silicone ear tips youre to avoid alcohol-based cleaning solutions as this could damage the memory foam. Rinse them in water and squeeze dry in a paper towel let air dry the rest of the way.
Your ears NEED to be spotlessly clean. Dont squeeze since that just hastens the foams decay. Just remove the tips and let them soak in a little bit of hydrogen peroxide for 30 seconds - 1 minute.
