No Mans Sky may only have a score of 71 on Metacritic but it has come a long way since its launch in 2016 with plenty of updates that finally let the game live up to those initial promises bringing an experience thats absolutely worth delving into. Heres whether No Mans Sky is worth playing in 2021. The pre-launch hype for No Mans Sky was so obviously out of whack with the game itself that it hurt.

Will someone please do a great no mans sky re. The vague story does nothing more than introduce you to the world at which point you can begin to explore earn money and buy new ships and even freighters. No Mans Sky has probably one of the most notorious launches for a new game of the last decade.

I would say no but really I think that advice is only for people looking to go back and not those who are playing for the first time. Follow the tutorial quests carefully. No Mans Skys new solar system map is a bit rubbish for trying to navigate the infinite swathes of space but theres a far more effective way to orientate yourself in multiplayer mode.

Soaring on hype the game failed to deliver on almost everything leaving gamers crushed with buyers remorse. No Mans Sky for starters is delightful at the beginning. Survival and Perma are brutal if you dont know what you need to do first and you will die in the first 5 minutes.

Its cheeky but its worth it. The story is there its not terrible or anything and the game generally has at least interesting to read writing but its not very long and exists more to guide you through the games systems. No Mans Sky is a game about exploration and survival in an infinite procedurally generated universe.
